Flock Safety

Flock Safety offers a Drone as First Responder (DFR) system called Flock DFR. The system includes the Flock Alpha drone, docking hardware, and the Flock Aerodome software platform. Flock DFR integrates with CAD systems, LPR cameras, and gunshot detection tools to automate drone dispatch in response to 911 calls and other alerts. Flock acquired Aerodome in 2024, which formed the foundation of their DFR product line.

Flock DFR Drone Hardware

Flock Alpha

The Flock Alpha is Flock Safety's proprietary DFR drone, purpose-built for public safety. It has a top speed of 60 mph, can read license plates from up to 2,000 ft, covers up to 50 square miles, and uses 4 independent cellular modems for redundant connectivity. It includes HD, thermal, and low-light optics.

Flock Safety offers docking hardware designed to keep the Flock Alpha mission-ready without requiring on-site staff. Two configurations are available: a contact-charging dock and a battery-swapping dock. Both are purpose-built for public safety DFR programs.

Flock Aerodome Software

Flock Aerodome is the software platform that powers Flock DFR operations. It handles automated drone dispatch, flight control, airspace awareness, live video sharing, and mission reporting.
